OMG WHAT PANTS ARE THEY WEARING?! they’re are kinda racer/sports/ski??/comic-ish/patchwork pants… OTL i don’t know

It wasn’t easy to find bizarrely printed pants to match that didn’t look hideous, but i tried my best v(=w=)/ added similar accessories such as Ryo’s cap, Yasu’s bandana and high-cut sneakers~

i do like the numbered oversized tops with a graffiti/comic print bottom combo tho <3

PV Fashion: “Ai Deshita.”

Another fashion inspiration post! This time, I tried creating looks inspired by Kanjani8’s PV “Ai Deshita.” To see other Kanjani8 PV fashion, I created looks inspired by their “Monjai Beat” PV.

image

“Ai Deshita” (愛でした。) was released in April 2012 as the theme song for Ryo Nishikido’s drama, “Papadoru.”  The PV is very simple—shots of the guys playing their respective instruments in front of a desert background (sometimes at sunset, sometimes at night) and individual shots of the guys singing along to the song.  There are also shots of Ryo and Yasuda playing guitar together in a living room on a couch and Okura standing near a wall and walking away.  Throughout the PV, their outfits are very similar with a red, white, and black color palette.  I created three outfits inspired by the color palette and individual items that they were wearing.

Outfit 1 (“Your Smile.  Your Kindness.”)

image

Jacket | T-Shirt | Pants | Bangles | Flats | Necklace

Okura, Hina, Maruyama, and Subaru are all wearing red varsity jackets with white sleeves, so I decided to create an outfit based off of that one item.  I found a very similar jacket on the Forever21 site.  I thought a regular white graphic t-shirt and black jeans were simple enough to have the jacket as the main piece of this outfit.  Pair it with some cute flats and accessories like bangles or a necklace (the necklace I chose is a birthstone necklace from G.U. and it has a very appropriate ‘8’ attached to it).

PV Fashion: Wild At Heart

Another new fashion post :D I decided to now do fashion inspirations from PVs of Johnny’s artists too! So first up is Arashi’s “Wild at Heart.”

image

Wild at Heart (ワイルドアットハート) is Arashi’s 37th single used as the theme song for Arashi member Jun Matsumoto’s Winter 2012 drama, “Lucky Seven.”  The PV or Promotional Video for the song is a basic concept of the five members of Arashi singing the song in front of different backgrounds.  The scenes include: an all white room where they are in a circle facing outward, a colorful box in which they are enclosed, a sparkly curtained stage where they sing with microphones, and a closed in wall space.  I created three outfits inspired by this PV.

キラキラ (kirakira) Fun~!

image
Jacket | Shoes | Tank Top | Sunglasses | Necklace | Shorts

This outfit is inspired by the scene pictured above.  Arashi is dressed up in purple sparkly jackets with neon colored collared shirts and ties with light colored pants and sneakers. It is a very showy outfit with sparkles and glitter about (or in Japanese, known as “Kirakira”).  I recreated a similar outfit for women.  I found this black sequined jacket that looked just like the one the Arashi members are wearing.  Pair it with some denim shorts and a brightly colored tank (I chose neon orange since MatsuJun is wearing a bright orange shirt underneath the jacket).  The sneakers are also sequined going with the kirakiratheme.  The heart necklace is an homage to the title of the song while the sunglasses complete the look.
